489 Directed Readings and Research (1-3:0:0). Prerequisite: Open only to degree students in the B.I.S. program. Individualized sections by arrangement. Readings/research are conducted on an individual basis in consultation with instructor.

490 Bachelor of Individualized Study Project (3:0:0). Final course in the B.I.S. core concentration. Open only to degree students in the B.I.S. core concentration. Topics are approved by the adviser and B.I.S. office. BIS 490 registration forms must be signed by the B.I.S. director. A grade of C or better is required to graduate with a B.I.S. degree.
