The Center for Global Education at George Mason
University provides academic travel opportunities around the
world for students, professionals, and the general public.
The Center for Global Education offers a wide selection
of study abroad programs, including short-term study tours
and semester or year long programs. Students may study at
a university abroad and have credits earned transferred
to George Mason University. Students proficient in a
foreign language may enroll in an intensive language program at
a host university. Those with tighter schedules can take
advantage of breaks and vacations to participate in the
center's short-term study tours, available during the summer,
winter, and spring breaks for periods of one to eight weeks
and on topics from a broad range of academic disciplines.
The Center for Global Education also provides study
abroad advising, a travel and study abroad resource library,
assistance with ISIC cards, Fulbright scholarship
applications, and travel insurance.
