New Undeclared Freshman
line

If you are a Newly Admitted Confirmed Undeclared (NACU) student and you live in the area we would like to meet with you before you come to orientation. Meeting with an advisor before orientation allows us more time to focus on your questions and gives you time to think about course options and what courses you want to sign up for at orientation. An additional benefit is that you can skip advising on orientation day and go straight to registration.

If you are a parent or guardian please have your student watch the NACU Presentation. This is information students need to understand. Parents/Guardians please go to our Parents Handbook where we have information just for parents.

New Undeclared Freshman students click on this NACU09 presentation link to get started. The presentation will explain the following:

* terms you need to be familiar with
* the number of credits/classes you will be taking
* differences between a BA and a BS
* how being undeclared might affect you

After you have viewed this interactive presentation please give our office a call at 703.993.2470 to make an appointment. Please arrive on campus 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to give yourself enough time to find parking and our office. There is a lot of contruction going on at Mason so check out the Directions to Mason site to make sure the road you plan to take is not closed.

If you have not signed up for Orientation please go to their website to sign up. You register for classes at Orientation.

Once you have viewed the NACU presentation please check out these other links and the tutorial on registering for classes.
