The Explorer Newsletter is a bi-annual newsletter created specifically for undeclared no preference students. It provides students with information about many different majorsoffered at Mason, new programs, and important registration information.

The Patriot's Guide is a resource for both freshman and transfer students. It gives students an overview of Academic Options and Policies, Registration, University Services, and frequently asked questions. Students are encouraged to read through it to become familiar with Mason and what the university has to offer.




The Faculty Advisor Handbook is a resource for all undergraduate advisors. There are useful tips on promoting academic success, information on academic options, frequently asked questions for advising and useful quicklinks.

Newly Admitted Confirmed Undeclared (NACU) freshman students are advised in the Academic Advising Center. We meet with NACU's at a pre-orientation advising meeting. Click on the link to get started.
