Network Engineering

Network Engineering is responsible for the overall architecture, design, and planning of the university's data network, as well as assisting Network Operations in the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of the GMU Network.

Projects

NET is continuing its project of renovating the campus networks. We will continue to upgrade buildings as time and budget allows. A Network Operations Building Engineer will contact the departments of the building prior to any planned upgrade. As a result of the upgrade process, there may be planned "downtimes" for these buildings. Staff and Faculty will be notified in advance when these "downtimes" will be scheduled. If you have any questions, please contact the us.

In addition, our ongoing list of projects can be found at http://pmo.gmu.edu/projects.html

Thank you.
