WITH AED You Can:

  • Receive current and accurate information from a wide variety of professional sources, including,physicians, counselors, national and local AED officers, magazines and publications, members of admissions committees and medical students.
  • Be well informed about visits from medical school officials.
  • Have first priority for interviews with medical school representatives.
  • Choose from several research, internship, and service opportunities designed for Pre-Med students like you.

  • Seek out information on your own with decreased access to a variety of sources.
  • Constantly watch bulletin boards on campus for advertisements about visiting medical school officials that may or may not be posted in buildings where you attend classes.
  • Risk being passed by when visiting officials conduct interviews.
  • Search for hospitals and physicians from a variety of specialties who allow students to observe them.
  • Search for applicable research, internship, and service opportunities.
  • Find your own help to prepare for the MCAT.
  • Arrange appointments with counselors to plan coursework and schedules.
  • Find assistance for preparing your applications and personal statements.
  • Find leadership opportunities.
  • Seek out other Pre-Med students in your major.
