Omicron Iota Signature Programs
Buckman Road: Girls Probation House
Every third Friday during the academic year, members of Omicron Iota and Lambda Kappa Omega Chapters visit the Girls Probation House offering the mentoring, education projects and fun activities.
Salvation Army: Angel Giving Tree
During the holiday season, Omicron Iota collects donations and gifts to give to the Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree to benefit low income children and young adults.
Ivy AKAdemy: Mott Community Computer Clubhouse
Omicron Iota visits the Mott Community Center and more specifically the Computer Clubhouse. Members offer the young students with instruction pretaining to computer hardware, software, and web design.
OI Need To Study
On two Mondays every month Omicron Iota and George Mason students gather for a quiet session of studying.
OI Exam Relief
Fittingly every semester, right before Exam Week begins, Omicron Iota hosts OI Exam Relief to provide George Mason students with some music, games, and relaxation. Also scantrons and blue books are FREE for students that attend.
MS Walk
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society hosts MS Walks every spring all over the nation to raise awareness for the disease. Omicron Iota proudly participates in the local walk in Manassas, VA. As well, for a week prior to the walk, OI hosts a kiosk in the Johnson Center to raise money to donate to the Society.
