Asian Pacific American Law Student Association
Welcome Class of 2010 and Class of 2011! We’re excited about this new year, with our new website and plans to continue as a student group dedicated to supporting one another to become conscientious and community-oriented attorneys.
Some events planned for this year include: the annual Colors of Justice Program in Spring 2009; one or two roundtable discussions throughout the school year; and the Northeast Regional NAPABA event in Norwalk, CT in Spring 2009.
2007-2008, events included:
- 2007 attorney panel with six young Asian American attorneys from APABA-VA. – Fall 2007
- Roundtable with upperclassmen to discuss final exams and courses – Fall 2007
- Orientation dinner and reception for new first year students. – Fall 2007
- Curry Dinner for new 1L’s– Spring 2008
- Social Night with DC area APALSA organizations - Spring 2008
- Graduation Dinner with BLSA and Judge Klein - Spring 2008
- Summer Job Brown Bag discussion with BLSA/HLSA/APALSA - Spring 2008
- Volunteered for 2008 Minority Pre-Law Conference @ GMUSL (hosted by the VA State Bar Association)

Our mission is to create relationships between communities to foster respect through understanding different cultures and ethnicities. We promote awareness by providing relevant information to the campus and community. We are an active student group for diversity efforts at George Mason University School of Law.
