Chris founded the club in 2007. He has been fencing for about 6 years, and is moving to California in January to pursue as job as a full time fencing coach. He has studied coaching under Eric Bowden and Andy Ma. Chris attended the Fencing Coaches College in summer of 2009 at the olympic training center in colorado. Chris competes for GMUFC primarily in sabre, regardless of being a foil fencer by trade. He coaches all 3 weapons, and can also be found as a national referee, having reffed in 13 different states in the past couple of years. |

| Vice President: Joseph Rossell |

Joseph is a native of Northern Virginia, and started fencing at age 8. He took lessons at Virginia Academy of Fencing, and within his first few years, began competing at the club and regionally through USFA. He took a break from the sport during his junior year in high school, and began fencing with George Mason Fencing Club in his senior year in high school as a part-time student at the university. Joseph mainly fences foil, but has also begun saber. His coaches have included Alexei Sintchinov, Stuart Sacks, and Frank Kelly, among others. |

| Treasurer: Joshua Reed |

Josh's primary weapon discipline is epee, the modern derivative of the original dueling sword. Within the United States Fencing Association (USFA) he holds the rank of E09 as an epeeist, and endeavors to rise higher. For those of you who don't know rankings go from E alphabetically up to A, with A being the highest. Epee fits his personality because, like the rules governing the discipline, he is an all or nothing kind of person. Currently he is the Club Treasurer and Epee Captain. |

Brittany has been fencing since she joined the GMU fencing Club in 2007 during her freshman year. She has been coached mainly by Chris Atwood and fences foil for the team. Brittany is currently the Advertising and Public Relations Manager.
