Membership Requirements
To be a GMU Player:
- Be a current degree-seeking student at George Mason University
- Have a 2.0 GPA or higher
- Be on the Players Mailing list
- Participate in at least two GMU Player productions (non-TFA) in ANY capacity (ex. Acting, Directing, Designing, Run Crew, etc.)
To join the mailing list:
E-mail, Sara Simanski, or you can e-mail the webmaster.
To Maintain Membership:
- Must continue to participate in two GMU Player productions (in any capacity) per CALENDAR year (January through December)
- Must attend at least ONE of the two GMU Players meetings that are held per month (Note: if you are unable to attend a meeting because of a vaild reason, please email the GMU Players Secretary, Andrew Knoche, prior to the meeting and you will be excused).
- If you do not follow these requirements on maintaining membership, you will be dismissed from the Players.
If you have any questions or think you meet the requirements but are not on the list of elible GMU Players, please contact the GMU Players President, Kate Welsh.
The list of eligible and pending GMU Players is located on the GMU Players News bullentin board in the Theater Lounge (PAB A 109)
If you meet these requirements, please send an email stating your intentions of joining GMU Players to our President, Kate Welsh
