Hello everyone.
We are happy to tell you that we have scheduled a general dentist, Dr. Jack Tsai to come in on Thursday November 5th, 2009 at 6:30 pm. Dr. Tsai is relatively young and is very familiar with all the pre-undergraduate and graduate experience. He received his D.M.D from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in May 2009. Dr. Tsai was very active both his undergraduate and graduate years. He has taught DAT Kaplan classes, volunteered in many different places, and was the Class Social Chair at UPENN his first year. Dr. Tsai is a great source for many of us to learn from his experiences.
Please join us to welcome him to George Mason University for the first time. Also, be prepared and have questions ready.
We will send an email with the location of this meeting in a few days.
Also, please remember to pay your $10 dues if you have not. You must pay your dues to be a recognized PDS member. Thank you.
See you there!

Dear Pre-Dental Students,
The University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery Student National Dental Association would like to invite you to our 5th annual Impressions Day Program. The event will take place at the University of Maryland Dental School on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 9am-4pm. Our theme of the program this year is Big Cavity, Filling Americas Oral Health Gap, as we seek to increase underrepresented enrollment into Dental School.
The purpose of the Impressions Program is to expose and excite undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and/or underserved communities in the Washington DC Metro Area about the dental profession. Participants will be given the opportunity to listen to guest speakers, tour the University of Maryland Dental School, participate in hands-on dental demonstrations/workshops, interact with UMB dental students and faculty, learn about the admissions process/how to become a competitive candidate, how to prepare for the Dental Admission Test (DAT) and to interact with UMB dental students, residents, faculty and alumni!
We look forward to your participation in Impressions Day 2009 and thank you for your past support of our event! For questions about the event please email yetunde.patrick@gmail.com.
Register for this event at http://survey.ssg.gmu.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1251838723524 before October 30.
