School of Public Policy Student Association

 

The School of Public Policy Student Association (SPPSA) is the official representative of all Graduate students at the George Mason School of Public Policy. The association's founding principles are to enhance the overall reputation of SPP, contribute towards quality of the education provided, and further avenues of interaction amongst students, faculty, and alumni.

More cohesively, SPPSA role and responsibilities involve;

  • Liaison between students and faculty and foster a sense of community.

  • Improving social and networking opportunities among current students and alumni.

  • Facilitate career and job networking, student communication, and curriculum input.

  • Function in all ways possible to enrich the Mason experience at the School of Public Policy. 

Establishment Clause of the SPPSA Constitution

Believing a strong student organization is necessary to achieving and maintaining a top-tier ranking for the School of Public Policy; recognizing the common goals of the School of Public Policies students and faculty in promoting the school; recognizing the importance of providing opportunities for students to develop professional and leadership skills; and, realizing the achievements possible through the work of a student association of united and committed students: We hereby establish the Student Association of the School of Public Policy of George Mason University.
