Moyer, the 2003 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Player of the Year, set the school single-season record for goals (32) this year. She ended with 11 assists to total 75 points, and earned first-team All-American honors.

Mertes guided the Marlins to their best record in program history (18-2) and captured the regular-season ODAC title. Virginia Wesleyan advanced to compete in the NCAA Tournament, and Mertes earned co-ODAC Coach of the Year honors.
