Students
considering law school should be aware of the following in order to insure their
successful application and preparation
- Make sure that you maintain
high grades in your chosen major. Choose a major which you enjoy and in which
you will earn good grades
- Take an early look at
law school materials, including law school catalogs and LSAT test forms. LSAT
test forms are available in Robinson A207
- Make sure that you develop
strong writing skills. Regardless of your major, don't hesitate to take writing
courses at George Mason University
- Join the George Mason
University Pre-Law Society and attend
law school fairs. The George Mason University Administration of Justice Program
majors also have a fraternity (Lambda Alpha Epsilon) which may be helpful to law
interested students
Pre-Law Advising is located
in the Department of Public and International Affairs and is coordinated by Char
Miller (Robinson A211)
Students seeking pre-law advising should attend Dr. Miller's open office hours for pre-law advising held twice a month on Tuesdays from 3:00pm-4:00pm in his office: Robinson A 211. No appointments are necessary. Students will be seen on a "first come-first served basis".
