Kinesiology major Isaiah West spent a month in Senegal as a strength and conditioning intern at NBA Academy Africa. He worked with students from such nations as Benin, Mali, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic.
Honing Young Players’ Hoop Dreams in Senegal
Biology major Rabail Hussain, who graduated from Mason in May 2017, conducted research on maternal mortality rates in Mississippi Delta region. Her research was judged “highly commended” by The Undergraduate Awards, an international competition out of Ireland.
