A World of Possibilities

We have students, faculty, and staff from about 130 countries. Walk around campus, and you'll hear many different languages being spoken, from Arabic to Zulu.

Mason, Virginia’s largest public research university, with an R-1 rating, is committed to keeping our doors open and accessible to as many capable students as possible.

The multitude of ideas and perspectives our students bring to Mason help to ignite the kinds of discussions that generate different ways of thinking and bring new ideas to light. Ideas that can have an impact on building a freer, more just world.

Each spring, the university comes together for International Week as our students celebrate and share their cultures.

Mason Nation Extends Around the World

Located 25 miles from Seoul, in the town of Songdo, the Mason Korea campus accommodates 2,000 students and includes world-class teaching facilities, a library with state-of-the-art technology, a performing arts center, comfortable residence halls, faculty apartments and guest housing.

Mason Korea students come from throughout East and Southeast Asia and beyond, including students from our Fairfax Campus. Mason Korea students spend their first and second year in Songdo, third year in the United States, and the final year in Songdo. U.S. students are also permitted to spend one or two semesters in Songdo.
