FULLY ONLINE GRADUATE PROGRAMS TAUGHT IN 8 WEEK MODULES

For information on how to apply for aid please see https://www2.gmu.edu/admissions-aid/financial-aid/how-apply-for-financial-aid. For the spring and summer semesters of the 2017-2018 year, you will need to complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For the 2018-2019 year (beginning with fall semester 2018) you will need to complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA. Mason’s school code is 003749.

Students in fully on line programs taught in 8 week modules will follow the following calendar for 2017-18:

Spring Semester Start Date:         Monday January 8, 2018

Spring Semester End Date:           Monday April 30, 2018                  
 

The first 8 week module will run from 1/8/18 to 3/5/18. The second 8 week module will run from 3/6/18 to 4/30/18.

Summer Semester Start Date:    Monday May 7, 2018

Summer Semester End Date:      Saturday August 25, 2018

The first 8 week module will run from 5/7/18 to 7/1/18. The second 8 week module will run from 7/2/18 to 8/25/18.

If you have applied for aid and received notification of your eligibility, your spring semester aid will disburse January 12, 2018 for the spring semester and 5/11/18 for the summer semester.  You must begin participation in your class in order for your aid to disburse, and you must be registered for a minimum of 4.5 credits for each semester.
