Hey y’all! My name is Carleigh Pappas and I am the Admissions Counselor here at George Mason University responsible for Ohio and Pennsylvania. During my collegiate experience, I quickly found my passion for Admissions by becoming a Campus Ambassador at my alma mater, Old Dominion University. I thoroughly enjoyed telling people why I loved my school and wanted to continue helping students choose where they would get their degree from after I graduated. I was a very involved student by joining a Panhellenic sorority and the Club Baseball team and holding many executive and committee positions in my four years on campus.
I was born and raised in Fairfax Station, VA and I studied Marketing with an emphasis in Digital Marketing with a minor in Psychology at my alma mater, Old Dominion University down in Norfolk, VA. I believe everyone deserves a chance to advance themselves in their field of interest and George Mason puts its students’ needs first. George Mason offers a wide range of majors and minors, ranging from Engineering and Computer Science to Political Science to the arts like Dance. There is something here for everyone. We are a top-notch university with the best of the best faculty in their respective sectors. What I take most pride in at George Mason is our diversity. We are the most diverse University in the state of Virginia. We have roughly 37,000 students but we have a tight knit inclusive community. Our students are given countless opportunities to succeed through research, grants, clubs, sports, study abroad, and internships just to name a few.
I would love to share with you why I love George Mason and help you through the college application process. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for help! I am excited to welcome you to the Patriot family. Go Patriots!
