Hi! My name is Chelsea LeDuc, and I am the New York/New Jersey Regional Recruiter for George Mason University. I am a born and raised Jersey Girl, and I am very excited to work with future Patriots from my home state and New York. I fell in love with guiding students through their college selection process during my four years as a student ambassador at my alma mater, Albright College.
During my time at Albright, I spent countless hours giving tours, making phone calls, and fielding questions from prospective students in the Admission office. I also held an executive board position in my sorority, where I found myself using many of the skills that I learned from working in the Admission office. As I got closer to graduation, I started leaning more and more towards a career in higher education. I loved meeting so many people on tours and at events, being able to share my story and experiences, and helping students find the college or university that they would call home for the next four years.
Since graduating in 2013, I’ve spent almost five years working in admissions at a small, diverse, liberal arts college in northern New Jersey. My love for higher education has developed into a passion through my numerous interactions with students from all walks of life. I love seeing students reach their full potential at an institution that I helped guide them to, and I am delighted to now guide students to a university as unique and student-focused as George Mason.
I know that this process can be overwhelming, but it can also be very fun! I am more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have so that your college search and selection is as smooth as possible.
