Regional Admissions Counselor
Hello! My name is Jeff Fusco and I am one of the Southeast Regional Recruiters for George Mason University. I’m originally from Massachusetts and chose to attend Mason as an out-of-state student. I know just how exciting and scary it can be to move across state lines for college and I want to be a resource to you throughout that journey.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from George Mason in May 2013. Shortly after graduation I relocated to Tampa, FL to study at the University of South Florida. I graduated from USF in May 2015 with my Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in College Student Affairs. Prior to starting in my current role at Mason, I’ve worked at the University of South Florida, The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Florida Atlantic University.
As a student at Mason, I made sure that I took advantage of the multitude of opportunities that are offered. I was involved with Fraternity & Sorority Life, Student Government, Mason Ambassadors, Patriot Leaders and was a Resident Advisor (RA). I also had the chance to participate in two Alternative Spring Break programs and studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador. I love cheering on our Patriots to victory, especially our Men’s Basketball team. My favorite part of being a student as Mason was living so close to the Nation’s capital and taking advantage of everything that Washington, D.C. has to offer.
I’m excited to help prospective students and their families explore George Mason University. I love this university and am proud to be an alumnus. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. GO PATRIOTS!!!
