Celebration of Graduates - FAQ

Celebration FAQs

What is Marching Order?

Marching order is the virtual platform and hub we are using to honor our May 2020 graduates. The site will give each graduate an opportunity to submit a photo and a brief message to fellow Patriots, family, and friends. The celebration will be broadcast via GMU.TV and Youtube on May 22, 2020.

If I miss the May 8 deadline to customize my slide on Marching Order, can I have an extension?

Our virtual celebration vendor, Marching Order, will close the registration portal on May 8. No additional submissions will be taken after this date. Those students who did not customize their slide prior to the deadline, and have an active graduation application, will still be featured on the virtual commencement celebration site, launching on May 22.

How can I share the celebration with my family and friends?

Mason will host the Celebration of Graduates via links on the George Mason University website beginning May 22.
