FULLY ONLINE GRADUATE PROGRAMS TAUGHT IN 8 WEEK MODULES
For information on how to apply for aid please see https://www2.gmu.edu/admissions-aid/financial-aid/how-apply-for-financial-aid. For the spring and summer semesters of the 2019-2020 year, you will need to complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For the 2020-2021 year (beginning with fall semester 2020) you will need to complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA. Mason’s school code is 003749.
Students in fully on line programs taught in 8 week modules will follow the following calendar for 2019-2020:
Spring Semester Start Date: January 6th, 2020
Spring Semester End Date: March 1st, 2020
Summer Semester Start Date: April 27th, 2020
Summer Semester End Date: June 21st, 2020
Students in fully on line programs taught in 7.5 week modules will follow the following calendar for 2019-2020:
Spring Semester Start Date: January 15th, 2020
Spring Semester End Date: March 6th, 2020
Summer Semester Start Date: May 18th, 2020
Summer Semester End Date: July 14th, 2020
If you have applied for aid and received notification of your eligibility, your aid will disburse 5 days after your semester start date. You must begin participation in your class in order for your aid to disburse, and you must be registered for a minimum of 4.5 credits for each semester.
