George Mason University

Student Resources

Students have access to a wide variety of support and resources to ensure their success both in and out of the classroom.

Students stand outside Johnson Center

Students stand outside the Johnson Center, at the center of Mason's Fairfax, Virginia campus. It was named for George W. Johnson, Mason's president from 1979 to 1996.

Our team at INTO Mason will help you build a community outside the classroom to meet American students, learn about cultural traditions and experience all Fairfax and Washington, D.C., have to offer. Mason has a variety of clubs and organizations, and there might be one that's built around students from your home country.

We'll also provide guidance on getting around the D.C. metro area, so you can explore the nation's capital, enjoy a good meal, see a play or concert.

Academics and Advising

Our advisors help students to understand the academic culture and classroom expectations at INTO Mason and George Mason University. Students often have questions about policies, their study plan, and making the most of their learning experience. Advisors can answer these questions.

Schedule an appointment with your advisor.

Faculty members are a great resource for current students. They are available during office hours each week to assist students with their learning. Students also find the Learning Resource Center (LRC) to be a great place for English language support and tutoring in subjects such as math and statistics. More information about the academic resources can be found in the Student Guidebook.

INTO Mason and George Mason University have separate tuition and fees payment platforms.

INTO Mason students can pay their INTO Mason academic program tuition and fees on the INTO payment portal
