A safe return to Mason starts with you

Body

As Mason works to bring even more students back to campus, expand in-person instruction and offer more on-campus experiences, we ask students, faculty and staff to remember the steps that enabled Mason to have among the lowest number of COVID-19 cases among Virginia's large universities during the Fall semester.

Mason had no known transmissions of COVID-19 in the classroom. Patriots help Patriots, so let’s all work to keep it that way by doing our part.

+ Use the Mason COVID Health Check every morning through the emailed link. It helps monitor and contain COVID-19 on campus.

+ Wear a face covering on campus and remember to maintain social distancing by staying six feet apart, even when outside.

+ Wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and hot water.

+ Use hand sanitizer.

+ If you feel sick, stay home, contact your healthcare provider or Student Health Services, and follow health department recommendations to isolate or quarantine.

“Our campus is open and we’re excited to have you back,” Mason President Gregory Washington said. “Our efforts are working, so let’s keep working together to keep the Mason Nation safe.”
