Special Collections & Archives Exhibition

February 21, 2014

Special Collections & Archives (SC&A) invites the Mason community to view a new exhibition on Mason’s student newspaper.  The exhibition is in two parts: What’s in a Name? and Broadside Images in Context.

What’s in a Name? explores the history of Mason’s student newspaper through the paper’s name changes, including Gunston Ledger (1963 – 1969), Broadside (1969 – 2013), and Fourth Estate (2013 – present).

The second part of the exhibition, Broadside Images in Context, focuses on Mason in the 1970s through the eyes of students.  The exhibition runs through April.

Special Collections & Archives will host a reception in Fenwick Library on Thursday, February 27, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
