University Limits Travel through Fall 2020

Travel restrictions are based on state mandates, Center for Disease Control and Prevention levels, U.S. Department of State Travel advisories, and Mason’s risk assessment of travel conditions and risk exposures.

In accordance with University Policy 1134, circumstances requiring travel outside Virginia falls under review of the University Travel Advisory Committee (UTAC).

The UTAC has suspended all international travel through the end of fall semester, with the exception of travel to South Korea.

Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You can submit a proposal to the UTAC

Field work that requires domestic travel outside of Virginia also falls under review of UTAC. If it's considered research activity, it must be reviewed and approved by the Research Review Committee.
