Books and Course Materials

Mason's Bookstore will sell textbooks and course materials online before spring semester starts.

We strongly encourage all students to purchase their textbooks and course materials online prior to the start of the spring semester for home delivery.

Once your textbooks and course materials are available, order them immediately to ensure they arrive on time. Create an account and do not check out as a guest. Registered users can better track their orders and make changes to shipping if needed. The bookstore is offering free ground shipping on orders of $49 or more.

If you get a "course materials pending" note when placing an order, that means the bookstore has not received book information from an instructor. You can still place an order, and when the information is available, your order will be filled.

The bookstore will begin filling and shipping out orders over the winter break. The bookstore will close to the public December 18 and re-open January 4 and will sell books and supplies, but the number of individuals allowed inside will be extremely limited. Physical distancing requirements are likely to cause significant delays, especially the first two weeks of school.

The bookstore will provide a full refund for all fall 2020 textbooks through Monday, February 1. If you drop a class, you have until Monday, February 22 to get a full refund if you can provide proof of a schedule change. All materials must be in their original condition. Don't open shrink-wrapped packages or activate any online access codes until you are absolutely sure you will need these items.

Students line up to make purchases in the Mason bookstore

To avoid problems with social/physical distancing, the Mason bookstore will limit the number of people who can be inside at one time. Students should order books and course materials as soon as they get their class schedules, and have them delivered to their homes.
