Housing and Residence Life

Mason’s on-campus housing community will include fully vaccinated students and unvaccinated students who have received an approved medical or religious exemption.

Housing & Residence Life will follow health and safety precautions to meet the needs of this mixed community.

Residents must submit the Mason COVID Health Check daily, and participate in COVID surveillance testing when requested.

If you’re unvaccinated, you must wear a facing covering when you’re outside your room in your residence hall, per University Policy 1415 Public Health and Safety Precautions – Face Coverings

Single, double and triple options in traditional, suite, and apartment communities will be available. You must observe proper physical distancing in rooms (if you have roommates or guests), and in common spaces.

Residential students seeking special housing accommodations for health-related concerns should use the Special Housing Accommodation process through Disability Services

Housing and Residence Life has resumed 24/7 staffing of Mason Housing Desks in Eisenhower and Piedmont Halls.

Moving In

Residential students should have submitted their vaccination information to Student Health Services or requested an approved medical or religious exemption by August 1.

Even through the deadline has passed, you should still upload your documentation. Students must meet the requirements in university policy 1416.
