Non-Degree Admissions

At Mason, we believe that access to education is the great equalizer in a world where talent is equally distributed, yet opportunity often is not.

And we pride ourselves on not only being Virginia’s most innovative and diverse university, but also a partner to our neighboring communities.

Through Mason’s non-degree programs, we create opportunities for individuals to continue their education, refine their skills, and pursue new passions. Because we realize that to reimagine tomorrow, it’s going to take all of us. Together. Discovering new perspectives that enrich ourselves and our communities.

Non-degree status enables visiting students from other institutions who have no degree objective, talented high school students, community members, senior citizens and Mason employees to enroll in courses without seeking formal admission to a degree program.
