Is Fraternity and Sorority Life for you?

Have your own radio show on WGMU, write a column for the Fourth Estate student newspaper or edit one of our literary journals. There are plenty of opportunities to try your hand in the various media outlets available on campus. It can even help beef up your resume.
Be the change.
Want to make a difference? Mason’s Student Government serves the student body in a variety of ways. This year alone, they:
- Implemented a Medical Amnesty Program
- Made our spirit-based programming bigger and better than ever
- Pushed for gender identity and expression to be included in Mason’s Non-Discrimination Policy
- Sat as student representatives on more than 50 university committees
Each January, Student Government organizes Mason Lobbies Day, which takes more than 100 students, alumni, faculty and staff to the State Capitol in Richmond to lobby for higher education funding.
