Announcing A Celebration of the Arts Alliance!

Body

On May 6, 2021, the Hylton Performing Arts Center will host a virtual Celebration of the Arts Alliance.  This first-ever event will highlight the outstanding artistic contributions and achievements of the Hylton Center Arts Alliance, celebrate their long history with the Hylton Center, and raise funds to support their creative work.

As part of the Arts Alliance program, the Hylton Center serves as home to seven Arts Partners: Manassas Ballet Theatre, Manassas Chorale, Manassas Symphony Orchestra, Prince William Little Theatre, The Creative and Performing Arts Center (CAPAC), Asaph Dance Ensemble, and Youth Orchestras of Prince William.  Each year, these outstanding local arts organizations present vibrant performances on the stages of the Hylton Center.

In addition to the Arts Partners, the Hylton Center Arts Alliance includes the following Arts Affiliate organizations: Virginia National Ballet, Pied Piper Theatre, Northern Virginia Ballet, Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra, and Real Life Productions, LLC.  Based locally in Prince William County and the City of Manassas, the Arts Partners and Arts Affiliates comprise the Hylton Center Arts Alliance and are evidence of the extraordinary talents and resources that exist in our region.

The Celebration of the Arts Alliance will feature performances by members of the Arts Alliance, interviews by Arts Alliance and Hylton Center leaders, and the opportunity to Raise Your Paddle to support the work of the Arts Alliance at the Hylton Center.

All gifts, including sponsorships for the evening and via Raise Your Paddle, will support the Senator Charles J. Colgan Community Arts Benefit Fund. This fund ensures that Arts Alliance organizations are able to perform at the Hylton Center at greatly reduced rates, making the creative capital of this region accessible for all. This fund is named in honor of the community’s great champion – the late Senator Charles J. Colgan – who worked tirelessly to support this region’s artists, arts educators, and specifically, the Hylton Performing Arts Center – in the state legislature.

Viewing the event is free to all who register – registration information will be available in January.  Sponsorships, which start at $1,000, are also available to increase your impact, and come with recognition and event benefits, including visibility for your company and home-delivered catering for your guests.
