Nirmal Jeevi Ghimire awarded NSF Career Award for quantum science research on synthesis and study of magnetic topological materials

Comfort Ohajunwa, a rising senior at The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park on Mason’s Science and Technology Campus, first gained exposure to research through membership in Mason’s Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) in the summer of 2020.

Faculty members Holly Matto, Padmanabhan Seshaiyer, Stephanie Carmack, and Nathalia Peixoto, and graduate student Matthew Scherbel, are working with Brightline Interactive to examine the effects of recovery cues, using virtual reality simulations, on neurophysiological regulation to prevent drug relapse.
