Mason Scholarships

Applying for a scholarship at Mason could not be easier! Scholarships are considered FREE money that will help you pay for college expenses.

Mason Scholarship Application

The 2017-2018 Mason Scholarship Application is open until March 31, 2017.

To apply for Mason Scholarships students must have a valid Mason email and password when logging into the scholarship application

Information for admitted incoming freshmen will be available March 2017.

How to Qualify

Returning Undergraduate or Admitted Transfer Students

To qualify, students must:

  • Have a Mason student ID (G #)
  • Have a valid Mason e-mail address
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Maintain enrollment of at least six credits each semester for most scholarships
  • Have 2017-2018 FAFSA on file to determine eligibility for need-based scholarships
  • Be currently enrolled in an academic college or school at Mason
  • DACA students must complete the 2017-2018 Alternate Needs Assessment Form (for Non-FAFSA Filers)
Admitted Graduate Students

To qualify, students must be enrolled in one of these programs:

  • College of Health and Human Services
  • College of Education and Human Development
  • School of Business
  • Schar School of Policy and Government
  • College of Humanities and Social Science

Students must also:

  • Have Mason student ID (G#)
  • Have a valid Mason e-mail address
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Must maintain enrollment of at least six credits each semester for most scholarships
  • Must have 2017-2018 FAFSA on file to determine eligibility for need-based scholarships
